  Let's face it: some people love Applebee's, and some don't. While I used to really like Applebee's, I currently fall into the second category.
  
  Their menu simply isn't very interesting, and it's typically crowded and loud. Their Long Island Iced Tea is poured from a bottle rather than mixed at the bar (at least that's the case in the locations near me--whether due to corporate policy or limitations on their liquor license,I do not know). The last two times my wife and I have visited, they've not prepared food per our directions (e.g., they failed to put the Fiesta Lime Chicken sauce/dressing on the side as requested).
  
  Still, the food is well prepared, and typically tastes good. They have some good specials from time to time (presently including half-price appetizers). If you haven't tried the won-ton tacos, they are tasty.

  Terrible presentation and service. Food tasted okay. Took 30 mins to get an app and an hour to get 2 entrees. Final bill was incorrect, overcharged by $1.00. Server had his hair hanging around his face and over our table. Also, a visibly large disgusting scab on his forearm that could have easily been covered with a bandage. Halfway through our meal the server starts apologizing to all of his tables because he broke his knuckles open and had a paper towel on them and didn't have any bandages. Very dissatisfied with the recent experience and will never return. Less than 1 star.
